PB & J Smoothie Bowl


PB & J's are awesome. The sweetness of jam, the saltiness and roasted-ness of peanut butter... whoever thought of that combo was a genius!

They remind me of a bunch of things: road trips, my dad because he always has either a PB & J or Nutella foldover with him for an on-the-go snack, my Aunt who used to make the best PB & J's cuz she stuffed 'em with tons of jelly and Adam's peanut butter :), and lastly, my Grandma, who calls them PJ sandwiches. It literally drives me mad.


 This smoothie bowl is full of delicious whole foods that keep you full for hours, and will totally satisfy your cravings for this childhood favorite.

PB & J Smoothie Bowl 

  • 1/2 cup oats 
  • just under 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk 
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 8 whole frozen strawberries 
  • Pinch salt 
  • 1 whole Medjool date, pitted
  • stevia (or other sweetener of choice), to taste 

Add all ingredients to a blender (I used Vitamix) and blend until smooth. Pour into a bowl and let sit in freezer for at least 10 minutes for a thicker texture.
