3 Fabulous Greek Yogurt Recipes

So you know that plain Fage Greek yogurt container that's sitting in your fridge? The one that will definitely become expired before you warm up to its sour, gross taste? I was there once too. I only ate the pre-flavored artificial-everything yogurt and I couldn't stand plain. However, one day I looked at the nutritional info for Fage 0%  and found that one container had only 100 calories with 18g protein, and only one ingredient. I was amazed so I started experimenting with it, and now I prefer plain Greek yogurt waaaay more than Yoplaits. Why? Plain Greek yogurt has such an incredibly thick texture that it's like you're eating a dip, or cookie dough or something. Mmmm. Here are three of my favorite Greek yogurt recipes!

Reece's Peanut Butter Cup Greek Yogurt

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 packets stevia
  • 1 tbsp chocolate protein powder (You can omit)
  • 1-2 tbsp peanut butter
Stir in all ingredients except for peanut butter completely. Then stir in the peanut butter. Top with peanuts and extra cocoa powder if you want.

PB&J Greek Yogurt

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • pinch salt
  • 2-3 packets stevia
  • 3 frozen strawberries
Stir in all ingredients except for the frozen strawberries (They will just get in the way of your spoon :) until the peanut butter gets the yogurt super thick. Then stir in the strawberries. Let the yogurt sit for 3 minutes or so, so that the strawberries get all melty and there are cool lil' strawberry swirls in the yogurt. Top with peanuts if you wish and enjoy!

S'mores Greek Yogurt

  • 2 tbsps chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • stevia to taste, depending on your protein powder
  • 1-2 tbsps mini marshmallows
  • 1 graham cracker sheet
Stir in all ingredients except for graham crackers. Then you can either crumble the graham crackers on top, or use them to scoop some up like I did.

My favorite one on here is the PB&J, I love how the strawberries melt. Anyway, enjoy!!
